Fire Tests

Skatelite Pro already has unique fire resistant qualities and together with Rampmental’s all steel structure (No Wood or Phenolic Board used) makes them the ideal choice for Local Authorities with problem areas.

The photo’s below show how our equipment was virtually untouched after a flammable liquid was poured over them, set alight and left to burn. After a quick wash down they were ready to use again.

Even if the ramp is exposed to continuous heat and damage to the Skatelite Pro sheet should occur, the structure will remain intact and once the sheet has been replaced it will be as good as new again.

Often ramps that have been purchased by Local Authorities that have wood or Phenolic Board (Coated Plywood) are either totally destroyed or require expensive structural restoration costs that are not covered by the manufacturers guarantee.

Rampmental have had fires started underneath the ramps that have caused no damage what so ever to the equipment, the same can not be said about ramps using Wood or Phenolic Board as a sub-straight (this also includes steel surfaced ramps).
